Graphic design should no longer be classified and seen only upon the lens of the creative process! Whereas graphic designers contribute to project development beginning with pitching, ideation process and ending with execution and the delivery stage. Eco - design is fundamentally a way of minimising the impacts which may occur from graphic design on the environment.

Humans have evolved into being more dominant and intelligent than anything seen ever since. As the technologically advanced boom hit a few centuries ago, we as humans evolved and reproduced at a rapid pace, though.

Paper. Remember the journey of papers, where, once the trees are down they come across stages till manufactured into papers. Although printed materials are a crucial part when it comes to design in spite of the rapid shift towards electronic files and clouds. Truth be told, graphic design means to be involved in a series of creative processes which thoroughly helps to deliver the visual outcome and should be in line with a less-paper consumption. By doing such, graphic designers could print their work on recycled paper or could simply publish it online and gain the same amount of appreciation.

Furthermore, do more with less in terms of designing, be resourceful by downsizing, and look up for originality rather than size. That equally said, designers in a common well-thought, are really good at making new things like solving problems. But, in the same training of thought, are creating other problems under the lack of recognising the consequences.

The dynamic of graphic design shall adopt sustainable design guidelines that considerably be taken in their projects in order to reduce the pollution and waste produced during both the printing and digital design process.

So, ending my words with a cheer for designers around the plant. For future designers yet, If you may happen to follow the steps of creativity, keep in mind that, to run-on an open-source where designers may share the eco-design topic to the public, along with other interested majors.
